Originally intended to be 2 months but extended to 4, my internship at LSBU gave me opportunities to work across all 3 colleges, comprised of 9 schools that each have their own sub-branding that fits underneath the LSBU banner. I worked on various types projects such as editorial, Promotional, and smaller jobs like illustration and asset generation. I also helped concept and create the visual stile for LSBU’s 2021 campaign ‘RISE with LSBU’. Below is a selection of my work during the this time.
These were print collateral that were posted around the LSBU campuses and placed in to student induction packs. The intention was to offer simple techniques that could help students with anxiety or mental fatigue and my job was to convey these messages in a simple yet comprehensive way.
LSBU active was the gym located within the Southwark council that was open to students and members of the public. Throughout my internship I created a range of collateral that included posters, flyers and email banners.
I was tasked with designing the year books for the Division Psychology. They would lay out what each year group should expect to learn, who they would be taught by, how to get support and more. In total, I designed three booklets following a similar template to keep consistency but I enjoyed giving each one some of their own personality that reflected their individual stages of tuition. Here you can see the booklet given to first year students.
This was a podcast created and hosted by the then head of the marketing and design team and its aim was to cover topics such as digital innovation, sustainability, education and social justice. I was to create a series of templatable designs that would be used across print and digital media in order to promote the podcast.
